tour dates Lisa Moscatiello is a powerful vocalist - known as much for her soaring range as her instincts for choosing incredible songs. Her music is free from commercialization, making it difficult to pigeonhole her into a specific genre. From her experience with the accomplished Celtic, rock group The New St. George, and as a member of the madcap Celtic/ jazz / klezmer group Whirligig, Lisa has now gracefully intertwined Appalachian rock, Celtic, blues, and jazz, with her voice as the binding rope. Like Maura O'Connell, Lisa is easily and applicably described as a singer's singer, though she has begun to work on her own compositions as well. With her first CD Innocent When You Dream now re-released on Folk Era / Wind River Records, Lisa, in addition to touring on her own and with Whirligig, has begun work on a follow-up album, and is rapidly becoming one of the most talked about up and coming artists in the acoustic world. The recently issued MusicHound Folk Guide lists her as one of ten to watch, along with already recognized as stars figures like Canadian Band Moxy Fruvous and Stephen Fearing.
