Folk Era Records, the renowned 12-year-old independent record label based near Chicago, launched its long-awaited imprint, Wind River Records, on February 23, 1999. The label kicked off with a selection of new releases and re-issues from some of the hottest contemporary artists-like cult favorite David Roth and Celtic singer Lisa Moscatiello. Today Wind River continues, releasing some of today's finest acoustic music.
